Summer Fling 2008

We are looking forward to another exciting summer, packed full of fun and adventure.  Below is a brief description of each week's theme and trips.  A more detailed list will follow.  

Join us as we experience...  

Week #1 (June 30-July 4, closed July 4th) Sunny Side Up 

This week we will be voyaging to the Great Escape and several parks as we discover some of the exciting elements our natural world has to offer us. Please note that this is a 4-day week.

Week #2 (July 7-11) Take Your Pick

Our groups will be voting on where to go on Thursday- with so many choices, bowling, Chuck E Cheese and more, which trip will win. A trip to Aimies –lunch and a movie will ensure this week is a top pick.

Week #3 (July 14-18) Fairly Fun

We will be flying through the fun at the Saratoga Fair and lots of other escapades this week will make the week more than fairly fun!

Week #4 (July 21-25) In The Strike Zone

The Valley Cats, bowling, and for the middle and older groups the Baseball Hall of Fame will keep us all in the strike zone this week.

Week #5 (July 28-August 1) Surprises and Celebrations

Happy 25^th Birthday CCC. This week brings us our 25^th birthday bash, lots of other holiday celebrations, and a trip to the Halfmoon Sportplex for a day of gaming!

Week #6 (August 4-8) Nature Rules

Mother Nature leads the way this week. Our older and middle groups will be white water rafting while our younger groups explores Adirondack Animaland.

Week #7 (August 11-15) Summer Smorgasbord

Summer is full of wondrous experiences. This week our older campers will have their annual Lake George Day. Meanwhile our middle and younger campers will take pleasure in the Magic Forest .

Week #8 (August 18-22) Wonderfully Wet

Wet and wild is the only way to describe this week. Our exploits will include a trip to Zoom Flume and loads of watery adventures.

Week #9 (August 25-29) Final Fling

We'll bid a fond farewell to all of our camp friends as our Summer Fling comes to a close. We’ll have lots of great memories and spend our last day at the Chatham Fair.
