The process for enrolling your child in one of our child care programs is very easy.

Step 1- Place your name on our waitlist

Complete a waitlist application. 

Step 2- Submit the waitlist application to us.

Submit the waitlist application to one of our child care centers. It may be mailed, faxed or hand delivered.

Step 3- We contact you when an opening is available.

When we have an opening for your child, we will contact you to come in for a private tour of our facility, to discuss our programs with you and to give you enrollment forms.

Step 4- Accept the opening.

If you choose to accept the position offered to your family, complete the enrollment forms and submit them along with the registration fee. You will also set up a start date with the Site Director.

Step 5- We are happy you are joining us.

On your first day of attendance you will need to begin paying your weekly day care tuition and your deposit fees.

Enrollment Policies

The Campus Children’s Center, Inc. provides services for children without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, income level, sexual orientation, or family status. 

 Age Requirements

Children must be at least 8 weeks old to enter any of the Centers.  They are eligible for care until Labor Day preceding the start of Kindergarten.  A separate program exists for school-age children during summer vacation and various breaks during the school year.

Waiting List

Parents may put their name on the waiting list for daycare any time after a pregnancy has been confirmed. 

The waiting list is maintained in the order names are placed on the list. 

Each child care center maintains a separate wait list.  As openings occur, placements are offered in the following order, then by date added to the waiting list:

• NYS and Harriman Campus “affiliated” employees
• NYS employees at other sites
• Contract staff working on the Harriman campus and other state facilities
• University at Albany faculty, staff and students
• SEFCU, CDPHP and other “Patroon Creek” employees

 Second priority:

• Community

 U-Kids

First priority:

• University at Albanystudents, faculty, and staff

 Second priority:

• All other NYS and Harriman campus affiliates, and contract employees on state facilities, as above

 Third priority:

• University atAlbanyAlumni

 Fourth priority:

• Community

We would love to have you visit our child care programs

Our monthly open tours are held at 10:00 AM

On the second Tueday of the month at CCC.

On the second Wednesday of the month at Ukids.

7:30AM-5:30PM

Once we have offered your family a place in our child care programs, these are the requirements you will need to know.

Enrollment Requirements

• Coordinate a start date with the Site Director
• Complete the enrollment packet before attendance begins
• Provide a medical report from the child’s physician before attendance begins
• Pay the registration fee and the deposit.
• Pay for the first week’s tuition no later than the first day of attendance

The child and parent are encouraged to visit the classroom prior to enrollment to help familiarize themselves with the program, staff and other children.
