us as we experience... Week #1 (June 27-July 1) Sunventures After
another great school year, it is time to bust loose and have some fun. Our
older group will be starting our summer with our annual Lake
George Day trip and the middle and younger groups will take in the fun at Magic Forest. Week #2 (July 5-8) Cool N Crazy Cooking Yummy,
yummy in our tummies, we will be cooking up lots of fun this week, especially
on our trip to the Great
Escape (We may not go to Splashwater Kingdom.) Week #3 (July 11-15) Waves of Fun Fun
in the sun is the only way to describe this week. Our exploits will include a
trip to a Waterslide Park and loads
of other sunny adventures. Be ready to bring your squirt gun! Week
#4 (July 18-22) Positively Puzzling It
is a puzzle how we have packed so much fun into one week. The Saratoga
Fair is one of our great destinations this week. Then we will be riddling
out the rest of our fun. Week #5 (July 25-29) Outrageous Outdoors Mother
Nature leads the way this week. Our older and middle groups will be White
Water Rafting while our younger group explores Adirondack
Animaland and we all strive to survive the challenges. Week #6 (August 1-5) Slam Dunk It`s
home run time as we are up to bat with the Valley
Cats, followed by tons of sports fun throughout the week and includes a
camp favorite, a trip to the Basketball Hall of Fame for our older two groups! Week #7 (August 8-12) Rainbow of Talent We
know all of our campers are loaded with talent. This is the week to show it
off and maybe to learn some new tricks especially during the dance off on the (JP)
Cruise on the Hudson. Week #8 (August 15-19) Time Machine Will we go back in time? Or will we go forward in time? We will have to wait and see, but we do know that the Altamont Fair is one definite destination during this week of time traveling fun. Waitlist
only - Week #9 (August 22-26) Where In The World… Where
will we be going this week? The possibilities are endless, but I know we will
go deep to Howe Caverns as well as
other escapades yet to be imagined. Waitlist
only - Week #10 (August 29-Sept. 2) Final Fling We'll
bid a fond farewell to all of our camp friends as our Summer Fling comes to a
close. We’ll have lots of great memories and spend our last day at the Chatham Fair.

travel Day campsDesigned for school age children, the holiday and vacation programs are travel camps. The children gather in the morning at one of several sites; the trips are varied and fun filled. The summer program typically includes swimming at various state parks in the area plus a "main event" for the week; a theme park, movies, white water rafting, roller skating - you name it - we've probably done it! If you have any ideas of places or events that school age children would find fun and interesting - please let us know - we are always looking for new ideas! |
